Each year many thousands of people come to Moray to follow the world famous Malt Whisky Trail. Taking in seven of the best distilleries in Moray, The Malt Whisky Trail presents an exciting history of the industry from the early days of illicitly distilling the magical liquor in caves and glens to the modern methods of production we see today.
Dallas Dhu Distillery

This unique trail consists of a well signposted route from which you can explore eight distilleries, including the preserved Dallas Dhu distillery, the last distillery built in the nineteenth century, now a whisky industry museum and visitor centre.
The trail also includes the multi award winning Speyside Cooperage and unique visitor centre, where you can see highly skilled coopers practising their ancient craft.
